Always been a fan of Gwen Stefani, more for her No Doubt stuff than her solo work so I've drawn her from a mix of some photos of her on stage with the group. Again I was really pushing the exaggerations here, I wanted to focus on her ridiculously toned stomach and make that the focus. Might get a canvas for this and paint it HUGE!

This is great! I was big No doubt fan Back in the day too and you really capture her energy. Well done.
I like it! She'll look really great as a painting. Can't wait to see how you approach putting her in a background, since it's such a dynamic pose.
Thanks guys! Not sure about the background Emily... will have to think about that!
Very cool drawing! You really captured some of the dynamic essence of GS and that hot little bod of hers...
Great Stefani! don't see too many caricatures of her. cool exaggerations too, reminds me of Jota Leal's work.
however, i think maybe the arm could use a little more length.
Thanks Jim and Will - Jota Leal was definitely in my mind when drawing this for sure. Got a nice big 1.2m high canvas to paint this now, should be a lot of fun :)
how do you transfer them to canvas?
Hi Dan - I use one of these:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Artograph-Tracer-Projector/dp/B001222SA0/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=toys&qid=1264494288&sr=8-1
Simple piece of kit to use, all you need is a bit of space and a very dark room (do it at night!). Simples!
Oh my god, amazing caricatures!
this is awesome Neil! One of my faves from you already. Can't wait to see it painted. You got a great likeness and general personality down!
My old Artograph is a tank compared to this! Where do you put art to be projected?
Jim - I print out my drawings 12cm high and put them on a small table or a stack of books, the tracer sits on top and projects it onto the canvas or board.
Ha! Awesome man!
That's a mighty meat jaw ms. stefani!
