The Gadget Show

Love this show, and thought the presenters would make a good portfolio piece. Got the idea pretty quickly but it took ages to get the reference and paint! I think it works OK.

U2 final painting

The idea here is to illustrate the massive change in image U2 went through between the Joshua Tree/Rattle and Hum stage, and the Achtung Baby/Zoo TV stage that followed. I remember vividly when The Fly single came out and this all-new U2 appeared, it was seismic - and I loved it.

I still might change some things with this, I wanted to have all four band members in the car, but it didn't work, and there are a few other things I might adjust. Pleased with Bono, and I love the Trabby :)

U2 The Joshua Tree

This is actually only part of a piece I'm doing on U2, there will be a whole other bit to it which I hope will be really cool. For now though this is my version of that classic album cover photo. Fun to do, can't wait to have the rest done to show!
