Sebastian Kruger's show in London

I was hugely fortunate to attend a private viewing evening of Sebastian Kruger's work at a gallery in Mayfair on Tuesday this week.

Wow - seeing his paintings up close and personal was amazing, I was knocked back by the sheer size of a few of them, but the quality was incredible. Personal favourites would have to be the Johnny Cash 'evil eye' painting and the Steve McQueen picture. I was seriously tempted to buy a gicleƩ print of that one but as a swift divorce would have been the result I decided against!

It was great to meet the man himself although all I managed was a brief "hi, nice to meet you!". Also there causing general mayhem was Ronnie Wood who lived up to his rock n' roll image perfectly.

There are more details on Kruger's Exhibition blog here:

...along with a picture of me, sticking out like a sore thumb with my 'pint of guiness' look :)

Was also very fortunate to get a signed calendar which now hangs behind me - amazing!

The Four Horsemen... for real

This is a two hour discussion between the four gentlemen who I caricatured recently, as I am a huge admirer of each one of them. Christopher Hitchens, Daniel Dennett, Richard Dawkins and Sam Harris have all written books about and have been very active in debating religion and atheism in recent years. I would invite anyone with an interest or view on those matters, whether they agree with the writings of these four or not, to watch this fascinating discussion.
